CHINA MINING Congress & Expo 2012, hosted by the Ministry of Land and Resources and the Tianjin Municipal Government, held at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center on November 4 to 6, 2012. Since first held in 1999, the scope and influence of CHINA MINING has grown rapidly year by year. CHINA MINING Congress & Expo has become one of world’s largest mining events, covering the whole mining value chain, including geological surveying, exploration development, mining rights trading, mining investment and financing, smelting and processing, mining techniques and equipment, mining services and more. CHINA MINING Congress & Expo is not only one of the largest mineral exploration and mining trading platforms, it also plays a valuable role in creating more communication and cooperation opportunities for mining communities globally.

CHINA MINING Congress & Expo consists of three parts – conference, exhibition and featured events.

During the conference, government officials, industry leaders, and experts from both Chinese and foreign mining industries will take part in in-depth mining-related dialogues. Topics to be covered include mining policies and laws, mining industry development trends, mining and capital markets, domestic and international investment opportunities, mining and sustainable development, commodities, geological surveys, technologies and equipment, and etc.
The exhibition will include individual pavilions of major mining countries, mining and exploration companies, investment and financing institutions, evaluation and consulting companies, and (technical) service providers and equipment suppliers. CHINA MINING Congress & Expo is intent on boosting cooperation in fields like exploration, development, investment, equipment, and technologies.

Featured events such as the CHINA MINING Awards, cocktail parties, the Gala Dinner and students’ day will also be held, aiming at creating a casual and pleasant atmosphere to facilitate networking.

CHINA MINING Congress & Expo is dedicated to following a path towards sustainable development and to being a part of global mining development trends. CHINA MINING is one of the most important annual events in the industry.
